Eisele’s Raw Honey is truly raw and contains nothing but honey. We’ve been doing this for nearly 40 years, and honey is all we do!
Our raw honey has never been heated beyond hive temperature. We take raw honey straight from the hive to the extractor and then to the glass jar—no extra processing! (The extractor is a simple piece of equipment that uses centrifugal force to spin the honey out of the honeycomb—no heat or chemicals needed.) We believe our method supports the health benefits of raw honey by locking in pollen, phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids.
We approach raw honey much as a fine wine maker would. Every crop year the flavor is unique, and we never mix honeys, so the flavor really shines. Our raw honey is unfiltered, but it’s a creamy white with no bee parts or debris. Because it’s unheated and unfiltered, raw honey eventually thickens to a semi-solid state. It’s a real treat spread on toast, but is not easily poured.
