We are a company who cares about our planet and it’s people. We’ve been wanting to share a simple, effective recipe for our audience, but we are also very aware of basic supplies flying off shelves nationwide. Some of us fellow humans are elderly and depend on others to get our supplies. Some of us are single mamas who work, cook, chauffeur and clean all week long, and some are waiting for their next paycheck so they can get what they need.

What an amazing opportunity we all have to be compassionate, supportive and community minded.

In the spirit of not completely missing the boat – here is a recipe we are using in-house to keep our hands clean throughout the day (in addition to washing our hands). It is simple, safe, smells nice and most importantly has the right ratio of alcohol and other ingredients to be effective.

We are formulators by trade and this is something anyone can make (and use) in the midst of the craziness.

What you need:

• 2oz spray bottle  (We sell these in Herb Room)
• Isopropyl Alcohol
• Vegetable Glycerin
• Essential Oils – we used the blend and amounts listed below

Directions:

Measure and pour the ingredients below into your spray bottle:

• 50 ml of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
• 2 ml Organic Vegetable Glycerin
• 3 drops Lemon Tea Tree Oil
• 1 Drop Rosemary Oil
• 1 Drop Thyme Oil
• 1 Drop Eucalyptus Oil

*The finished recipe results in a 66% alcohol content. Remember to shake well before using.
